Where is the capstone of the great pyramid

This ancient pyramid is even larger than the third-largest pyramid at Giza, that of Menkaure built several generations later. The Step Pyramid of Djoser kick-started the pyramid building fever of ancient Egypt. In fact, after the Pyramid Complex of Djoser, a few generations of Pharaohs passed by until Egypt saw the birth of another Pyramid. This was likely the Pyramid of Meidum, an experimental pyramid that greatly influenced future pyramid-building techniques in Egypt.

Just as Djoser, Sneferu, too, revolutionized architecture in ancient Egypt. The fourth dynasty king is regarded as the greatest pyramid builder in Egyptian history, having successfully built at least three great pyramids, the one at Meidum and the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dahshur.

But in addition to that, it was likely the first pyramid with a capstone on top. The capstone, or pyramidion, is the uppermost part of the Egyptian pyramid—after Djoser—and one of the main features of the smooth-sided pyramid and the ancient Egyptian obelisk. In ancient Egypt, the pyramidion was called the benbenet, which draws associations between the pyramids and the sacred benben stone. The benben was the mound that arose from the primordial waters Nu upon which the creator deity Atum settled in the creation myth of the Heliopolitan form of ancient Egyptian religion.

One of the greatest enigmas surrounding ancient Egyptian pyramids—specifically the Great Pyramid of Giza—is whether it ever had a pyramidion.

Given that the Red Pyramid—a direct precursor to the Great Pyramid—had a capstone, it is very likely that the Great Pyramid had one too. Although experts agree it likely had one, the Great Pyramids capstone is missing, and its absence has fueled debate whether the gigantic pyramid ever had one. A member of the Cult of Amun Ra, one of the Chief Librarians of the Alexandria Library, Callimachus of Cyrene , would later write a text that would note the locations of the Capstone Pieces or as near as he knew at the time.

The Capstone was re-erected by the Americans in order to avoid another Tartarus sunspot from causing havoc to the planet, and to obtain the power of Tartarus. However, when Zaeed tried to give power to his homeland, he instead gave it to Australia.

When Jack's farm was invaded by Chinese forces, Jack took the Sa-Benben, the uppermost piece of the Capstone, from the mine's cavern and detonated the mine entrance, hiding the rest of the Golden Capstone for good. It is intended to absorb the intense heat given off by the Tartarus sunspot. There are two incantations that can be performed during the process, and only one can be done.

The first simply averts the crisis while the other drives the energy from Tartarus into the earth, giving invulnerability and power to whatever nation placed a deben of soil from their homeland into a crucible beneath the Capstone's position.

Each of the single Pieces of the Capstone is inscribed with two lines of text written in the Word of Thoth, each belonging to separate incantations that must be spoken in order to perform either the ritual of power or the ritual of peace. Once Tartarus's energy has been infused into the Firestone, it is ready to be used in conjunction with the Six Sacred Stones.

The Egyptian Pyramids are more than a massive tombstone for deceased pharaohs. The Ancient Egyptians believed that when a pharaoh died he became Osiris, the king of the dead. They believed that for the dead pharaoh to carry out his duties as king of the dead his ka soul or spirit which remained with the body, had to be looked after.

The pyramid was in effect a manner of housing for the departed ruler. This picture shows a funeral procession.

He stood in the centre and spread out his hands and heard a kind of ringing noise. He wrapped a wet newspaper around a bottle and held it over his head. The bottle became charged with electricity and sparks started coming out. When he pointed it towards one of his guides, the man got shocked and fell to the ground. What is it capable of is a looming mystery.
